Fernovus® Transparent Spray
Enhances the vintage look of iron furniture.
Clear anti-rust paint for indoor and outdoor use. Protects and stops rust from spreading.

It protects against and stops the spread of rust, preserving and enhancing the vintage look; it can be applied directly to bare or rusted iron, as well as to
wood, concrete, galvanised sheet metal (only if heavily oxidised and degreased), bare or painted metal, and unpainted bare iron; it is also ideal for wrought iron objects.
A protective and decorative enamel for treating iron. It can be applied directly to rusty surfaces (including vertical surfaces), even if they are damp. It eliminates the need for sanding
and the use of anti-rust products and rust converters. It protects the surface and stops rust from spreading.
Clean oil and grease from the surfaces, remove peeling paint, loose and crumbly rust.
Shake the can with energy for 1 minute upside down.Spray at a distance of 25-30cm, with the can in vertical position, shake occasionally.
Apply thin and cross coats. Second coat in every moment.
For a best antirust protection apply at least 8-10 cross coats, at 10 minutes between one coat and the other.
Cleaning with Acetone and/or a Niter Diluent (thinner).

at 23°C and 50% relative humidity. May increase at lower temperatures and higher relative humidity.
Corrosion protection is assessed in accordance with ASTM D2247/68 and B 117/73 standards, as for Fernovus Gel.
The can is fitted with a self-cleaning valve.
Can be recoated with the same product at any time, or with another product after a minimum of 24–30 hours. Cannot be recoated with solvent-based paints applied by brush.
