Bituminous sealant
Black elastomer/bitumen-based waterproofing sealant. Single-component, elastoplastic, it seals, fills, plugs, seals, waterproofs, covers, and protects.
Available in: Cartridge (300 ml)
The sealant has good adhesion to most common building materials, such as bituminous membranes, roof tiles, plaster, brick, concrete, metal surfaces, wood, and plastics. Suitable for dry, damp, or wet materials, it is also suitable for underwater use.
It fills cracks, joints, crazing, breakages, and loose roofing; it seals, bonds, and waterproofs roof tiles, shingles, downspouts, gutters, chimneys, fireplaces, skylights, flashings, and walls; it seals raised edges and protects surfaces in general; it is ideal for exteriors. When applied with a brush, it is ideal for waterproofing gutters.
Resistant to weathering and UV rays.
Resistant to aging.
Can be used on dry, damp, or wet materials.
Can be painted with water-based paints.
Apply to clean, dust- and grease-free surfaces.
Cut the nozzle to the desired diameter.
Extrude with a gun.
Particularly wet, difficult, or uneven surfaces should be pre-treated by diluting Saratoga Bitumì with white spirit.
Clean within 10 minutes with a clean cloth soaked in solvent; once hardened, clean with a razor blade.
