Cleaning of all types of chimneys of open or closed fireplaces, wood or coal stoves.
One Chimney Cleaning Log is sufficient to treat a normal-sized fireplace.
We recommend using FalòCeppo Puliscicamino at least at the beginning of each season and then every 50 lightings.
In special cases, such as very dirty or large fireplaces, we recommend repeating the treatment after 15 days.
The fireplace can be used once the Log has completely run out.
Do not use damp or poorly seasoned wood, as it significantly increases tar deposits in the flues.
Do not burn paper or cardboard in the fireplace to avoid any risk of fire.

Heat the fireplace, after a few minutes (when the embers have formed) place the log wrapped in the bag on the embers and light with a match. Never place the log directly on the lit flame.
Let the log burn until completely consumed: the catalytic treatment softens the tar deposits, facilitating their detachment.
The cleaning action will last for several days, drying and neutralizing the encrustations. The neutralized tar will gradually detach from the fireplace, falling into the hearth.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use flammable liquids for lighting. Do not use to cook food. Do not close the damper before the ash is completely cold. If necessary, extinguish the log with water or sand. Avoid large flames in any case. Keep out of reach of pets.
