La Doccia
Protective Waterproofing Water Repellent
Saratoga La Doccia is a special, emulsified, solvent-free and odourless formulation specifically designed for waterproofing joints in showers.
It makes surfaces water-repellent, blocks infiltration by protecting substrates and prevents water absorption, helps keep the shower clean by blocking the appearance of salt efflorescence, and prevents limescale build-up.
Also suitable for preventing limescale build-up on chrome parts and preventing typical limescale marks on polycarbonate and glass.
It can be applied in a short time and avoids costly maintenance work. It gives excellent water repellency to the surfaces to which it is applied, right from the first application. Easy to apply, it offers an immediate solution against infiltration problems.
- Clean, dry (during application the material must not be wet as the presence of water prevents adequate capillary absorption, reducing the duration of the treatment) and degrease the surface.
- Carry out a preliminary test on a small part of the surface before proceeding with the complete treatment.
- Homogenise the product before application.
- Ready-to-use product, spray over the entire area to be treated, making sure to pass very well over joints and any cracks, crevices and crazing.
- Rub in thoroughly with a soft cloth to allow the product to penetrate deeply.
- At the end of each shower, rinse the surface with the hand shower.
- For periodic cleaning, use a neutral detergent such as Saratoga Nettatutto, then restore the treatment with Saratoga La Doccia.
- To achieve an anti-vapour and anti-limescale effect, it is important to carry out periodic maintenance with Saratoga La Doccia, treating the surfaces again each time the effect begins to wear off.
