Silicone Acquari
Special Transparent Acetic Sealant for Aquariums
Saratoga Acquari is a high-quality, single-component acetic silicone sealant.
It is 100% silicone, solvent-free and does not contain fungicides.
Available in: Cartridge in Display Box (8)
Ideal for the construction of freshwater and marine aquaria (up to 300 litres - maximum aquarium height 60 cm - adhesive joint between 2 and 5 mm)
Excellent for glass containers, non-porous substrates (aluminium frames, inner and outer panels of cold stores, solar panels, U glass, skylights, air conditioning systems and terraria).
Not suitable for PE, PP, PTFE, bituminous surfaces.
Apply to compact, clean, dry and degreased surfaces.
Prepare the surface to be treated and apply masking tape for edge profiling (remove immediately after applying sealant).
Cut the nozzle to the desired diameter.
Extrude with hand gun or compressed air gun.
Can be smoothed out by spatula wetted with soapy water, within 10 minutes. Cannot be painted, so paint first, then apply sealant.
Cleaning: within 10 minutes with Saratoga Via-Sil Fresco or clean cloth wet with solvent. When cured, clean with Saratoga Via-Sil Cured or remove with a razor blade.
