It adheres extremely well to all the most common materials used in construction, whether smooth or porous: wood, concrete, plaster, metals and plastics (except polythene, Teflon and silicone).
It fills by penetrating all cavities and is used for the installation, sealing and insulation of windows, doors and roller shutter boxes; for filling and sealing joints, grooves, cavities and pipe penetrations; for creating or completing thermal and acoustic insulation; and for fixing electrical boxes.
Once applied, it must be protected from UV rays and sunlight.
Once cured, it is impervious to microorganisms and mould and has excellent resistance to chemicals.
It can be drilled, cut, filled and painted.
It is waterproof and resistant to heat, cold and ageing.
Apply TURBO FOAM TEGOLE onto clean, degreased and compact surfaces, free of crumbly areas. • Shake can well before each application. • Screw adapter directly onto the valve nozzle. • Expel foam holding the can upside-down. • For the best performance, the can must be ideally kept at a temperature between +18°C and +22°C. • Wear protective gloves inserted in the cylinder cap to avoid contact with skin. • Apply two lines of foam with 2-3 cm. diameter for every row of roof tiles (pict. 1) onto roof surfaces previously wetted with water, then place tiles within 5 minutes, applying light pressure. • The roof tiles must be cleaned and wetted before applying the foam. • Successively, between one row and another of tiles, apply two spots of foam so as to link them (pict. 2). • Place the upper tiles within 5 minutes, applying a light pressure (pict. 3). The foam is self-expanding and doubles in volume, therefore do not fill the cavity more than half-full. Cleaning: fresh foam can be cleaned with acetone. Once hardened, remove with a razor blade.
Safe reuse: Once used, fold the dispenser in its right place, in this way the can is reusable even after 1 month.
