SIL 3004
It is a silicone sealant one component acetoxy-curing.
SIL3004 is a one component acetoxy-curing silicone sealant with excellent adhesion to nearly all non porous substrates such as glass, ceramics, coated surfaces, aluminium and many plastics. It’s an economic, yet good performance and easy gunable sealant specific for DIY general purpose sealing and assembling, for sealing windows and doors. Not suitable for heavy applications like big windows and aluminium/glass panels.
Characteristics: Thixotropic, non sag. Tooling time 10 minutes. Curing time 2-3 mm/day (depending on bead tickness, humidity and temperature). Elongation at break >400%. Application temperature: +5°C/+40°C. Temperature resistance: -40°C/ +120°C.
