Sink Sealer Tape

Quickly seals and decorates sinks and washbasins.
Immune to mold.
Self-adhesive.
It can be cleaned simply with a damp cloth.
It does not crack or discolor.

Clean the area between the wall and sink, where the tape is to be applied, with alcohol or an abrasive detergent. Surfaces must be perfectly dry. It is not necessary to remove any old sealant if it does not interfere with the areas where the adhesive part of the tape will come into contact with the surface.
Fill in any irregularities in the surfaces, especially in the case of deep joints.
Apply at a temperature not lower than +10°C (take care also the tape before use must be kept at a temperature ≥ +10°C).
Cut SINK SEALER to the exact measurement of the joint to be sealed.
Before applying SINK SEALER, fold it back preparing for insertion and thus counteracting the memory effect of the rubber.
In order to increase the flexibility of the product, heat it with a hairdryer, in this way SINK SEALER will be more malleable and easier to apply.
Peel the first 10 cm of tape off of the protective silicone-coated paper. Apply the tape folded at a 90 degree angle along the joint line where the wall meets the sink, pressing hard. Continue to separate the silicone-coated paper from the tape until you come to the end of the joint.
In the case of sinks placed on an angle, apply the tape in the same manner on both sides of the sink, laying one strip of tape over the other at the corner. You may either leave it like this, or cut both of the strips where they meet at the junction in order for them to fit perfectly (like the edges of a frame).
After applying, press hard once again along the entire surface of the tape in order to ensure maximum adhesion.
Protect from water and wait 24 hours before using the sanitary. Before use, check that the product adheres well.
