Obtain some nitro thinner or denatured alcohol for cleaning.
To remove all traces of salts, clean the surface to be treated thoroughly with the acid solution (read the instructions for use on the bottle carefully) or with a solution of diluted hydrochloric acid (please telephone our technical support team for further clarification).
Rinse thoroughly with hot water, dry completely and leave the surface to be treated to dry for at least 4 hours (in the case of tiled surfaces, wait at least 6–8 hours). If any encrustations remain on the surface, remove them using the sandpaper supplied in the pack, then wash with trichloroethylene or nitro thinner to remove any traces of soap; if necessary, use the sandpaper.
Dry the wet surface very thoroughly. Wait 2–3 hours before applying the product.
Mark out the areas to be painted with adhesive tape and seal any water drainage holes.

Baths
The surface must be perfectly clean.
Apply with a brush: ensure it is clean and does not shed bristles.
Preparing the paint: the tins of resin and hardener must be at a temperature of approximately 20°C (do not apply at lower temperatures). Mix the resin, pour the hardener into the resin tin, mix thoroughly for a few minutes, scraping the bottom and inner sides of the tin; leave the product to rest for 5 minutes before applying it. You can begin applying the product, bearing in mind that after 40 minutes the mixed product thickens, making application more difficult.
Apply a single coat of the product. It is advisable to start from the areas furthest away from where you are standing, applying from top to bottom, crossing the brushstrokes and always finishing vertically with light strokes. If, after 40 minutes, the product is too thick, it can be thinned with a few drops of nitro thinner or denatured alcohol.
After application, wait 30 minutes; then, without applying any further product, go over the surface with vertical brushstrokes to remove any excess in the event of drips.
Wait 4–5 hours before removing the masking tape.
Keep doors and windows closed for at least 7–8 hours to prevent dust from settling on the surface.
Wait 3 days before using the bathroom fixtures.

Ceramic tiles
After cleaning with the Acida solution (read the instructions on the bottle carefully) or with a solution of diluted hydrochloric acid (please telephone our technical support team for further guidance), we recommend washing the surface several times with a solvent such as trichloroethylene or nitro thinner, and drying the wet surface thoroughly to remove any foreign substances.
Apply the mixed product with a brush, then go over the entire surface very slowly with a sponge roller: always start from the top, working in a criss-cross pattern and finishing vertically.
If, after 40 minutes, the product is too thick, it can be thinned with a few drops of nitro thinner or denatured alcohol. To prevent running, approximately 40 minutes after application, always go over the entire treated surface very slowly with the roller. If the surface to be treated is very large, treat one wall at a time, from corner to corner.

When mixing the resin and catalyst, the resulting mixture must be used in its entirety and cannot be set aside for later use.
For applications on small areas and for any other enquiries, we recommend that you telephone our technical support team to obtain all the information required to achieve the best results.

Cleaning: wash tools with nitro thinner or denatured alcohol.

Coverage: a 375 ml tin is sufficient to treat: 1 bath, or the 3 sanitary fixtures typically found in a bathroom, or 2–2.5 m² of tiles.

To ensure the parts are well maintained, we recommend using non-abrasive liquid detergents (for cleaning surfaces) and car polish to restore the original shine.
