Mastice sigillante
Refractory Sealing Mastic
Specifically designed for uses exposed to free flame at temperatures up to +1200°C.

Fireplaces, stoves, ovens and boilers, for application on bricks, concrete and metals, to seal joints and repair fissures and cracks, even in the presence of uncovered flames.
Can be painted over.
Not suitable for central heating systems and gas pipes.
The surfaces must be clean, dry and degreased.
Eliminate any trace of rust that may be present on metallic surfaces.
Dampen porous surfaces such as concrete and bricks. Prepare the surfaces to be treated and apply the masking tape (Saratoga Vernimask) to outline the edges (remove immediately after sealing).
Cut the nozzle to the desired diameter. Extract the product with the provided key.
The product may be smoothened using a spatula wet with soapy water, within 10 minutes.
Hardening time: 2-3 days. To accelerate hardening, wait 24 hours after application, then light the fire and gradually heat the sealed surfaces, until the product has completely hardened.
Avoid freezing.
Cleaning: Immediately after application, can be cleaned with water. Once hardened, can be cleaned with a blade.
Avoid contact with the eyes and with skin. Dispose of contents and container in authorized collection centers. Keep out of reach of children.
