Elastic Construction Sealant Adhesive
An elastic sealant ideal for construction, which cures quickly when exposed to moisture in the air.
Available in: 300ml white cartridge (12) 300ml grey cartridge (12)
For construction, plumbing, building services, sheet metal work, structural steelwork, air conditioning, joinery and prefabricated elements.
Also ideal for floor joints.
Suitable for sealing and elastic bonding of various materials: concrete, plaster, brick, aluminium, stainless steel, galvanised sheet metal, painted surfaces, wood, ceramics, clinker, fibreglass, rigid PVC.
The product complies with ISO 11 600 and is for professional use.
Saratoga Flexedil 66 PU is not suitable for sealing glass joints, where ultraviolet rays may be reflected back.
For special or exceptional bonding requirements, it is advisable to carry out tests and, if necessary, use Saratoga Primer 66 CLS for porous surfaces and Saratoga Primer 66 MP for metal, glass and plastic surfaces (e.g. aluminium, painted steel, stainless steel, ABS, fibreglass).
It is not suitable for sealing glazing joints where back reflection of ultraviolet rays may occur.
For indoor and outdoor use. Can be painted over.
It can be applied to both horizontal and vertical surfaces.
The product complies with ISO 11600, class FM 25 HM.
Apply to solid, clean and dry surfaces that are free from dust and grease.
We recommend masking the area to ensure precise edge definition (remove immediately after application).
Use the gloves provided. Cut the nozzle to the desired diameter. Apply using a manual or air-powered gun.
Apply to the base of the joint in the insulating material (adhesive tape); if the joint is deep, fill with a filler material (Saratoga Joint•Filler or expanded plastic).
Clean from surfaces and tools within 10 minutes using a clean cloth dampened with white spirit; once hardened, clean with a razor blade.
