Schiuma Rapida Tegole Turbo Foam
Self-expanding sealant whit safety valve for roof tiles placement.
Ideal for laying roof tiles and curved tiles, offering exceptional resistance to freeze-thaw cycles and wind; self-expanding, it hardens on contact with atmospheric moisture.
Available in: 750 can
It adheres extremely well to all the most common materials used in construction, whether smooth or porous: wood, concrete, plaster, metals and plastics (except polythene, PTFE and silicone).
Once cured, it is resistant to microorganisms and mould and also offers excellent resistance to chemicals. It can be drilled, cut, filled and painted. It is waterproof and resistant to heat, cold and ageing. Once applied, it must be protected from UV rays and sunlight.
Apply to solid, clean and degreased surfaces.
Moisten the surfaces with water before applying the foam.
Shake the can well before each use.
Screw the adapter directly onto the valve nozzle.
For best results, the can should be at a temperature of between +18 and +22°C.
Use the gloves provided in the can cap to avoid skin contact.
Apply two strips of foam, each 2–3 cm in diameter, to the roof surface—which has been previously moistened with water—along each row of tiles or roof tiles (Figure 1). The tiles or roof tiles must be moistened before applying the foam.
Next, between each row of tiles or ridge tiles, apply two dots of foam to secure them together (Figure 2).
Position the upper ridge tiles within 5 minutes, applying light pressure (Figure 3).
The foam is self-expanding: it doubles in volume, so do not fill the cavity more than halfway.
After use, if the can has not been completely emptied, fold the dispensing tube back into its housing: the can can be reused even after a month.
Cleaning: fresh foam can be cleaned with acetone or trichloroethylene. Once hardened, it can be removed with a razor blade.
With safety valve. Controlled dispensing: the flow of foam can be adjusted to increase or decrease the output.
Safe reuse: by folding the dispensing tube back into its housing, the canister can be reused even after a month.
Use only in a well-ventilated area. Do not smoke. Do not use near flames or sources of heat. Do not inhale. Keep out of reach of children. For information regarding the product’s Safety Data Sheet, please refer to the Safety Data Sheet and the instructions on the product label.
