Schiuma Termo Acustica

Superfast self-expanding gunfoam, with thermic and acoustic certification.

Its thermal and acoustic insulation certifications make it ideal for eliminating thermal bridges in construction and for soundproofing.

Available in: 750 ml can

It adheres extremely well to all the most common materials used in construction, whether smooth or porous: wood, concrete, plaster, metals and plastics (except polythene, PTFE and silicone).

It eliminates thermal bridges and provides sound insulation; it is particularly suitable for the installation, thermal insulation, soundproofing and sealing of doors, windows and roller shutter boxes; it fills by penetrating all cavities, fills and seals joints, grooves, cavities and pipe passages, creates or completes thermal and acoustic coatings, and secures electrical boxes.

Once cured, it is resistant to microorganisms and mould and also offers excellent resistance to chemicals.
It can be drilled, cut, filled and painted. It is waterproof and resistant to heat, cold and ageing.
Ideal for use with any type of polyurethane foam extrusion gun.

Should be applied to clean, grease-free surfaces. Shake the can well before any use. Screw the can onto the neck of the gun. Spray the surfaces with water before applying the foam.
For the best performance the can should be ideally kept at a temperature between +18°C and +22°C. Wear protective gloves inserted in the cylinder cap to avoid contact with skin.
Humidify again during and after application. Regulate thickness by means of the screw-adjustable dispenser.
The foam is self-expanding and doubles in volume, therefore do not fill the cavity more than half-full.
The can once begun must be used within about 4 weeks. For intervals of time between one application and another of less than 2 weeks, it is recommended that you keep the can attached to the gun. For longer intervals of time, unscrew the can and screw the Saratoga FOAM CLEANER foam-cleaning can onto the gun to clean it.

Cleaning: Fresh foam can be cleaned with Saratoga FOAM CLEANER, or with acetone. When hardened it can be removed with a blade.

Use only in a well-ventilated area. Do not smoke. Do not use near flames or sources of heat. Do not inhale. Avoid contact with the skin; wear gloves.
